  • $109,098 in two separate grants to Orlando Shakespeare Festival to cover a portion of the costs to expand the presentation of Shakespeare for a New Generation in the schools and to purchase safety and production equipment. www.orlandoshakes.org 
  • $230,000 for three separate projects of Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra to underwrite 2 special concerts held on January 20, 2007 featuring an internationally renowned artist/singer, Mr. Davis Gaines; to purchase percussion instruments to be on permanent loan to the orchestra for their use; and to fund a portion of the cost of a concert opera series for the 2009-2010 season. www.orlandophil.org

  • $435,820 to The Ivanhoe Foundation toward the cost to replace the roof and the heating and air-conditioning system.
